When we first met Julia, she was struggling to stay housed and grieving the death of her teenage son. Though she was in the lowest place she had ever been, she never lost hope that there would be brighter days ahead.
Since then, and thanks to your generous donations, she has completed financial counseling with a Crisis Assistance Ministry caseworker and gone on to become an amazing customer advocate. The counseling gave her the tools to set financial and personal goals and as an advocate she uses her voice to lift up those who find themselves in a similar situation.
“What is happening for me can happen for anyone with the right support system, momentum, and drive.”
~Julia
