At one point, Amy and her family were living out of their car and struggling to stay afloat. Thanks to donations from people like you, she is stably housed today and her family is thriving.
A year ago, we shared Amy’s story of homelessness and housing instability after she fled domestic violence. Support from donors like you helped Amy and her family remain housed and plan for the future.

This year, Amy completed the Community Business Academy program and was so successful that she is in talks to teach there in the future. Her son Aaron was admitted to a military boarding school and has earned straight A’s along with the distinction of being 1 of only 8 students selected for the President’s List. Her daughter is also doing well in college and has her own car.
