Crisis Assistance Ministry helps stabilize low-income Mecklenburg County individuals and families experiencing financial crisis with life’s most basic needs: short-term, emergency rent and utility assistance; clothing and household goods; and appliances provided free of charge. Crisis Assistance Ministry also provides one-on-one financial coaching to empower neighbors to identify and overcome financial barriers with the aim of achieving longer-term stability.
Short-term rent and/or utility assistance is available to income-qualified Mecklenburg County residents either in person at our main office.
The Free Store offers clothing, shoes, household items, and other essentials free of charge to Mecklenburg County individuals and families.
One-on-one coaching empowers Mecklenburg County households to overcome financial challenges and achieve longer-term financial stability.
