Crisis Assistance Ministry Partner Agencies are a network of human service organizations serving Mecklenburg County residents. These are typically 501(c)(3) nonprofits or government agencies that identify a need for emergency rental or utility financial assistance while providing services for their customers.
Becoming A Partner Agency
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Service Agency Partner. As we work to strengthen and refine our collaborative network to better support our community, applications for new partner agencies are currently paused while we conduct a program assessment. This temporary pause allows us to evaluate collective community impact, optimize our shared service models, and ensure we are providing the highest level of resource coordination for our partners and neighbors.
Current partner agencies and their staff are unaffected by this pause and may continue accessing services and training as usual.
Partner Agency staff is available Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, except holidays.
Partner Agency Shopping Service
Partner Agencies may shop for clothing and essential household goods on behalf of the individuals and families they serve. Items are offered in bulk and free of charge to nonprofits for distribution directly to low-income Mecklenburg County residents. This service is available to registered Partner Agencies by appointment.
Emergency Financial Assistance
Trained Partner Agency caseworkers who identify a need for emergency financial assistance through the course of working with their customers, can submit an online referral to Crisis Assistance Ministry on their behalf.
