With a dozen group volunteer shifts a week, Crisis Assistance Ministry is a great place for colleagues to give back and spend a little time away from the daily demands of their workplace.
Many teams find their time inspecting and preparing donated items, stocking the Free Store, and assisting in the donation warehouse is the perfect fit for team building and corporate volunteerism. In addition to those reoccurring opportunities, groups purchase and assemble hygiene kits for shoppers, purchase and distribute lunch items for families awaiting assistance, and even organize collection drives with their peers.
